The best laid plans of mice and men

I'm typing one-handed because Elijah is being held with the other arm.

I had such plans for today: a bit of toy shopping, a bit of sewing, a bit of knitting and a few other things. Well I've got none of it done, as Elijah has been so temperamental today.

I thought it was going to be a great day, as he'd had about nine hours sleep overnight, however, he refused to sleep until 1:30pm. And he wouldn't be put down anywhere, or he'd scream. I didn't think he'd be so unsettled, otherwise I'd have had the Calmarap ready, so instead, he's been in my arms all day. Yes, that includes sleeping - I tried putting him down once and the screaming was unbearable. And I'd put him in the wrap now, except he's been spewing everywhere, so it'd only mean I'd have to wash it and then it wouldn't be dry for when I really need it tomorrow.

So I'm sitting here, hungry, because I haven't been able to make myself lunch, typing one-handed and waiting, not very patiently, for the Daddy to get home and give my arm a rest.

Oh bugger, it's frustrating when they decide to have a crappy day hey? Maybe you need to get another wrap? :D Hehe! Hope you got a break eventually..

I am going to make another wrap, but can't afford material atm, especially as I'm boycotting Spotlight.

I did get a little break, but then Shane conveniently got a bad sinus headache. :(

I'm not sure who it was convenient for. It certainly wasn't convenient for me. Anyway, I recall lying on the lounge with him half-sleeping on my shoulder, so it wasn't too bad (but I agree, far from ideal).

Don't you love domestics played out in public ;>

LOL You two!

Ah, Spotlight, I understand even though I can't stay away!

I've found a place called Addicted to Fabric, which isn't bad, but not quite as cheap.
