A Canadian study, as reported here by the Sydney Morning Herald, seems to show that young children that learn to play an instrument have better memories than children that don't and that their brains are "getting wired up differently".
Somehow, given that Bugs has a mother who plays and teaches piano, violin and singing and a father who plays guitar and a smattering of piano/keyboard, has a djembe and waltzes around the house singing and dancing like life is one great big musical, I don't think this is likely to pose any developmental problems for the lad.
At the very least, we should save a fortune on music lessons.
