Elijah doesn't babble like most other babies. He does, however, go through phases of sounds he will rehearse. For a while, it was blowing raspberries. Now it's kissy sounds and plosives. He will happily just repeat "p...p...p..." over and over. There is no vowel, just the consonant. The "P" sound appears to be his favourite, but he also rehearses "D", "T" and "B". He likes to use vowels separately and will have a whole conversation with me or his Daddy just with vowels, but consonants must be more serious.
