Enjoying a balanced diet

Elijah's normal breakfast is three crushed Vita Brits soaked in milk, followed by a handful or two of Nutri-Grain. We finished breakfast a little early this morning so while I waited for Mummy to get out of the shower, I gave Bugs his handful of Grains and concentrated on reading the paper.

I suddenly realised that although he was safely sitting in his high chair, something was up. He was quiet. A little too quiet.

I looked up to be greeted with the balanced diet you can see on the right here.

Anyone who has sat at a dinner table or in a restaurant with my wife will know where he gets this from...

Update 5/10

Here's some very lo-fi footage of the fun as well. Sorry about the low quality, but it's ganked straight from my mobile phone.

Food stackers and sorters, huh? My food falls into my mouth much too fast for that silliness.

It's usually a sign of either one of two things:

1. He's had enough sleep and is being a cheeky little monkey

2. He's bored and would like to get down now.

In this case, I'm not sure which one it was but he did end up eating them all.

Dinner is now a different story. He tries to cram as much food into his mouth as physically possible. He's doing his best to test the laws of physics on that one, too!
