I actually had Elijah weighed and measured on his birthday, just forgot to post it!
It is said that if you double the height of a child on their second birthday, then that's their adult height. This means that Elijah won't quite be as tall as his father, but will tower over me.
How does he fare on the charts? Well, according to the charts in his progress book, he's well over the 50th percentile for height, right on the 50th for weight and above the 50th for head circumference. We can't use the kellymom charts anymore, because they only went up to 12 months.
If nothing else, this is proof that not all babies grow at the same rate and that we were being put under pressure for absolutely no reason. He's a healthy, happy, intelligent little boy and that's the way it's always been.
