Wibble wobble, wibble wobble

We watched Rhys make jelly on Playschool. Elijah was fascinated.
Playschool finished. I thought I'd strike while the iron was hot.

"Would you like to make some jelly, Elijah?"

"Yes please, Mummy!"

So he poured in the jelly crystals.

I poured the water, and let him stir.
Then he helped me pour it into the mould. I cut up a banana and he put all the pieces in the mould.

Later that night, after the jelly was set, Elijah enjoyed the fruits of his labour.

video

(Video needs Flash to watch. Quality is not very good as it was filmed on Daddy's mobile phone, which he keeps trying to convince me is dying so that he has an excuse to buy a shiny new one. Of course, it is just a coincidence that his contract happens to expire this month.)

In America we spread jelly on bread, and eat Jello with bits of banana in.

But what do you do with jam?

Jam also goes on bread! It's thicker than jelly and has fruit chunks in it a lot of the time.
